We are currently re-writing our privacy policy to make it clearer to get rid of the blurred zones and avoid misunderstandings, as it seems to have occured today.

The content mentioned in this paragraph is the content users made explicitly public: webnotes, bookmarks,… This does not include your tweets, your IM, etc. (this is your personnal sphere! we can’t be that evil ;-))

This public content is thus treated the same way YouTube or other content sharing services treats your videos, photos or posts. It allows us to display content users make public on http://www.yoono.com, in demo or presentation. But I acknowledge the formulation can look awkward and we’ll redo it ASAP.

Our users’ privacy and trust is one of our top concern. Thanks for pointing out this part of our privacy policy, which indeed may seem scary.
